The Beerbohm Pendant Lamp is built around an open, hand-forged iron cage with a blackened finish. A circular upper ring supports four flat iron ribs. These ribs descend vertically before curving inward beneath the diffuser to form the lower cradle. Hammer marks, minor edge irregularities, and slight differences between the individual iron sections remain visible.
At the center is an 8-inch spherical diffuser carved from alabaster sourced in Aragón, Spain. The stone is naturally translucent rather than uniformly opaque. Veins, cloudy bands, mineral marks, and differences in color density vary between individual pieces and become more visible when the lamp is illuminated. The sphere rests on a shallow iron support inside the cage.
